Mack Collier has posted week 72 of The Viral Garden's Top 25 Marketing Blogs.  Two blogs crossover with the M20:

Differences between the M20 and Viral Garden Top 25 occur in both the consideration set and the rank calculation.  Congrats to both Karl and Valeria!

Influence vs. Authority

Matt Hurst, formerly of Nielsen Buzzmetrics, put up a post today explaining why Influence Is Not Authority.  The explanation could benefit from a David Armano visual, but we can't all be graphic designers.  I've thought through these issues before as well, with specific focus on blog analytics.

I think both influence and authority are important, along with attention - which is why the M20 takes all three metrics into account.
